Accommodation
All my concessions have well equipped, luxurious bush camps and you will feel right at home. These camps will cater for the needs of the hunter and his family. Most hunters like to taste what they have shot, and all my cooks are well trained in providing only the best bush cuisine. There will be a light breakfast in the morning, lunch and then dining like a king at night. Local beers and wines are provided. Daily laundry services are provided.

Area

Most of my concessions are in the northern (Limpopo) parts of South Africa but I also have concessions in the more central regions (Mpumalanga and Freestate) and in Mozambique and Namibia. In total I have about 600 000 acres of unspoiled African bush to hunt in. 80 Percent of the areas are malaria free but please consult with me before you embark on your journey. South Africa is a very safe country which makes it a popular tourist destination and possible to bring your whole family with you on your hunt. Medical services is always close (about 1 hours drive)

Season and climate
The best time to hunt is April to October although you can hunt throughout the year. Very little rain occurs in these months and the climate is very pleasant. From 40 degrees F to 85 degrees F.

Travel
The best way to travel to South Africa is with South African Airlines. I will meet you in person at the airport and transport you to your hunting destination. The areas in South Africa are all between 3 and 5 hours drive from Johannesburg International Airport but you can fly in to the areas with a bush plane if you wish. To travel to South Africa you will need only a passport. Please make you travel arrangements in advance as flights get fully booked over the hunting season. It is a good idea to get travel insurance. Please contact your travel agent. I do recommend that you get insurance for your rifle or bow. The best company to contact is Sportsmen's Insurance Agency at www.siai.net. Please remember to pack your knives etc. in your checked luggage. You can exchange your currency at the airport for rand or by any of the local banks. Most places accept credit cards . No shots have to be taken to travel to South Africa but the health authorities recommend a tetanus booster and Hepatitis A. Please consult your doctor.
